A whimsical painting of a fairy mother and child at sunrise. Set atop the mountains in a luscious array of flora in the foreground, the fairy mother is seen at the center, showing a blue rose on her palm to the child who seems fascinated, pointing at the butterfly. The fairy mother looks serene yet strong to the core, as she protectively secures the child on her lap. Their outstretched pair of colorful wings are in contrast yet beautifully complement each other, showing both the likeness and diversity of the two. The nakedness of the subjects show oneness with nature as their home.

'Sempiternal' is the unchanging love between mother and chiĺd and their strong bond to home.

Another version of the painting is set in a bamboo forrest, done in pigmented paper pulp medium for a  coarse texture effect.
